In
March 2005, CAMS opened a branch in Hyderabad City, the first CAMS
branch
outside of Karachi. Hyderabad is the third largest city of Pakistan, located
about 200km north of Karachi. It is vibrant and historical city with
a strong educational environment. There was a dire need to make professional
accountancy courses available to the students of Hyderabad. Sensing
this need, CAMS Board of Directors decided to open a branch in Hyderabad.
CAMS
became the first college in Hyderabad to offer ACCA/CAT classes
and
the first to offer Computer Based Exams (CBE) in Hyderabad. CAMS
is
also the first college to be approved by the Institute of Chartered
Accountants
of Pakistan (ICAP) to offer the Modular Foundation Course
(MFC).
