College
of Accounting and Management Sciences (CAMS) was
established
in March 1994 as a small private college sponsored by a group of professionals
from the fields of education, accounting, management, law and computer
science. It is the first college in Karachi to be accredited by the Institute
of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) to conduct the Modular Foundation
Course (MFC), formerly the Basic Accountancy Course (BAC). CAMS is a registered
college of The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)
(All Stages). CAMS Karachi Bath Island Campus has been awarded Premier
Status by ACCA – UK. The first & only college with Premier Status in
Pakistan. CAMS is also an approved assessment center of ACCA for Computer
Based Testing (CBT) of ACCA
