The new ACCA Syllabi is particularly designed to provide the knowledge,
skills and ethical values for qualified accountants working in public and
private sectors.

ACCA
exams are divided into two levels Fundamentals and Professional, which
are further divided into two modules each. Knowledge and Skills modules
are in the Fundamentals level and Essentials and Options modules are in
the Professional levels.

Ethics Module
As
part of the professional values and ethical developments students are required
to complete this module in addition to the exams and professional training.
The Professional Ethics Module can be completed on-line or in writing.
The
aim of this module is to give students exposure to a range of ethical perspectives.
Ideally, this should be completed before, at the same time or soon after
completing paper P1 (Professional Accountant), but it must be
completed
before applying for membership.
Entry
Requirements
Minimum
age 18 years
2 A'Levels
and 3 GCSEs or equivalent in five separate subjects with grade C in Mathematics
and English
2 years
graduation degree from recognized university
Certified
Accounting Technicians (CAT), knowledge modules of ACCA is
exempted
to CAT qualifiers.
Mature
Student's Entry Route (MSER) Minimum age 21 years or above No academic
qualification is required Must pass ACCA Knowledge modules papers F2 and
F3 with in 2 years of registration before further progression to the ACCA
exams is permitted.
Relevant
degree/certificate holders from ACCA's accredited institutions may be exempted
from all 9 exams of the Fundamentals level and register for the Professional
level. Non relevant degrees may also qualify for some exemptions.
